Beginning in the fifth grade, Kyle Trueblood Elementary students have the opportunity to take part in instrumental music. Instrumental music students perform during the annual Christmas music program and they are part of the, grades 5-12, district instrumental music program in the spring. Arrangements are made so students and parents can rent a school instrument or music companies are available for parents to work with renting or purchasing instruments. Traditionally, most of Kyle Trueblood fifth grade students participate in instrumental music.
