[Chorus] [Cardinalaires]
Grade levels 9, 10, 11, 12. No Prerequisite. The CSHS Chorus is open to all students who are would like to sing a variety of styles of music. Opportunities to perform include: Fall Fest, Christmas Concert, All-League Choir, League Contest, State Contest, and Spring Concert. Choir students may also take a solo and/or ensemble to contest. All performances are mandatory and are included in the grading scale.
Cardinalaires
Grade levels 9, 10, 11, 12. One credit hour per year. Prerequisites: previous choral experience, audition, and approval of instructor. This select vocal ensemble performs several times throughout the year. The performance schedule usually includes: Fall Fest, an annual Christmas Concert, a spring tour concert, contests, church day, impromptu requests for programs, and the Cardinal Cabaret. Choreography is often required. Performances are mandatory and are included in the grading scale. Members of the Cardinalaires are eligible to participate in contests as soloists and as members of one additional ensemble.
