Grade levels 9 and 10. Full year course. Required for graduation. No prerequisites. World History is a survey of the social, religious, cultural, political, economic, and military history of the world from its beginning to the present. We want to develop an appreciation and knowledge of the past civilizations’ accomplishments and culture. By understanding the past, we can relate it to the present.
Grade level 11. Full year course. Required for graduation. History of the U.S. from its discovery to the present. Emphasis is placed upon the people, places, economy, and political events of our country. An attempt is made to show how these factors developed and influenced American life. It will help the student learn from the past, thereby, helping him to form intelligent opinions on the problems of today.
